one page. one step. one return.

Week 73 – Thursday Night

“sometimes it feels easier to let something die than to speak the truth about it.
but easier doesn’t mean better. or clean.”

this week’s reflection was about the courage to end relationships the right way.
not with sabotage. not with silence. but with honesty and care.

whether it’s a friendship, a toxic job, or a version of ourselves we’ve outgrown, endings matter.
they don’t have to be dramatic or destructive. they can be firm, simple, and kind.

the reading reminded us that:

  • letting something fade can be a form of avoidance.
  • passive-aggression is still aggression.
  • the cleanest path is through the truth — even if it’s hard.

we talked about how growth means owning our exits and not leaving wreckage behind.

reflection prompt:
what relationship — past or present — has shaped your ability to speak the truth with love?

this is a recovery-based reflection shared from the heart, not affiliated with any specific program. no personal names or call details will ever be posted. if you found this helpful, you’re not alone — we’re still here too.
